Building the Foundation
As one of our contributors says, he’s seen a lot of poor college transitions. Just as students are moving to a new environment, we whisk away the support and accommodations they were accustomed to. Autistic students and their families simply need more tools and resources to support successful college transitions. Our educators need more exposure to perspectives and teaching methods that positively affect students who have an autism spectrum diagnosis.
We are giving students the tools to build a sturdy foundation not just for their immediate academic future, but for their whole lives. Thank you for already being part of this mission. Your support of STS has helped us grow more than we could have expected since launching in August 2018.
We’ve just published our first free e-book. We’re developing a weekly video series and a podcast. We’re also planning events and conferences that will serve an ever-larger community of students, families, and educators who can improve student outcomes together. Our mission is to be the one-stop resource that students, families, and educators look to on autism and the transition to college. And that’s why we need your help.
