By accessing and using the Stairway to Stem “STS” Website, and any of our social media and/or any of our mobile applications made available for STS, wherever and however accessed, you agree to be bound by the terms and conditions of this website access, use and privacy policy “Policy”.

Legal Rights. Your legal rights are affected by this Policy and you should not use this website, or any other STS social medial or mobile applications if you do not agree to the terms and conditions of this Policy.

Content Owners. We own all content appearing on our STS website, social media and mobile applications made available for STS, including all copyright, trademarks, intellectual property rights, whether registered or unregistered, and we reserve our rights in all STS content on our STS website, social media and mobile applications made available for STS.  We maintain editorial control over all content on all platforms, including any user posted content which might be uploaded, shared or commented, etc.

Warranties and Representations. To the best of our knowledge, the information and content we manage on our STS website, social media and mobile applications is accurate, however, we do not warrant or represent that the information or content is suitable for use for any particular purpose or complete or accurate for use for any particular purpose.

User Registration. Users agree to comply with our rules and the terms and conditions of the STS playbook. Users who register are our Members.  All terms and conditions in this Policy referring to Users shall include STS members.

Member Termination. A User may terminate User’s Member account at any time by notifying us in writing at info@stairwaytostem.org.

User Protection of User Data and Information. User is solely responsible for protection of User’s personal information, passwords, and private information.  We are not responsible for protecting User’s own information, data and personal identifying data.

User Shared/Uploaded Content. Users agree to maintain decency and respect regarding comments and uploaded content.  We reserve the right to disable, suspend or terminate at any time, without notice and without liability, any User or Member access or account if we determine in our sole discretion that User or Member is not complying to a code of conduct respecting others, or in our sole discretion we determine a User or Member is inappropriately using our website for spamming, marketing or other inappropriate conduct, or posting or uploading what we in our sole discretion determine is abusive, inappropriate and/or indecent content.

Tracking and  Personal and Device Data Collection. For business purposes we employ tracking/data collection measures, including, but not limited to tracking of click stream, page hits, user browsing history, posts, log in history, location information, comments, shares, messages, communications, content access and use of content, type of content accessed, frequency of access, data from cookies on your devices used to access our STS website, social media and mobile applications made available for STS, and/or other similar data pertaining to User behaviors.  We use tracking measures, cookies, and other data collection technology for business purposes and to collect and transmit identifiable and non-identifiable information about you. We do share this information with our business partners, advisory boards, vendors and consultants assisting us with our business mission in order to provide effective content for our Users and Members. We do not track or collect this data for purposes of selling it to third party businesses or companies. We use this information for statistical purposes, research and development purposes, and for internal business purposes only, and we do not sell User or Member lists, information or personal data.

Privacy and Unlawful Information. Although we do not sell our website User or Member lists, information or personal data, by using electronic means to access and/or transmit information via our website, there are risks inherent in the inadvertent interception or unauthorized access to your electronically stored or transmitted information by third parties which may have adverse consequences to you.  By continuing, you acknowledge these risks and that we do not ensure the privacy of our website users or the protection of your electronically stored data and information.

Policy Changes. The terms and conditions of our Website Access and Use Policy may be modified and amended at any time by us and you are encouraged to periodically review the terms and conditions.
